July 27, 200818 yr Well, your Garfield avatar is wearing stripes--you aren't in danger of being arrested, are you?Very much so, I'm afraid!
July 27, 200818 yr  Mine is just so snazzy! Could you see BF in a beard? I can't even grow a crappy mustache! I think I have Scandanavian genes or something. He has to try to repel them now as it is! His "little black book" is bigger than the New York City Yellow Pages.Yeah, right. And I also can't even rent the movie Babe without filling our a form.
July 27, 200818 yr Author Nobody's guessed yet. Since I'm the one corrupting him, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

July 27, 200818 yr Who you trying to kid? That's why I always see the babes flocking around you.Hardly.
July 27, 200818 yr I think we should let this thread die before people start thinking I'm a huge narcissist. Okay, they already think that...but this only serves to confirm their suspicions. Let me sum things up. In the 18 months or so since RTS and I began (in a very manly, completely heterosexual sense) "man-dating", The following has happened: I've gone from Barry Manilow to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. I've gone from Coke & milk to Royal Crown & beer. I've (unintentionally) taken my aging parents to a psychic porn show, where they were both accosted by a half-naked fat guy, right in front of me. I've been nearly involved in a number of (potentially) ugly altercations -- including one I almost started myself. I've been hanging out in beer halls and cabarets until all hours of the night. I got caught in a rainstorm. I've modified (not changed) my views on issues such as global warming, immigration, and welfare reform. I nearly knocked out (accidentally) the lead actress in a musical comedy. I spilled a whole Coke in a Mexican Restaurant. I (accidentally) semi-molested a waitress. And a few things that I can't even begin to talk about in this forum. Now, the finishing touch is about to be placed on the transformation. I, the anti-gun crusader, who has gone round and round in some of the P&R forum's most legendary threads, railing against the evils of gun ownership and gun carrying...I'm about to purchase my first gun. And not a wimpy one either -- a .357 magnum. It's kind of like Lord of the Flies, except the kids are a lot older, there's fewer of them, and...I didn't lose my glasses. In all seriousness, RTS has expanded my horizons, and all that has happened has been of my own doing and my own choice. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Believe it or not, the one thing he doesn't even realize that he's done is to encourage and support me in returning to my faith, which I've wandered from a bit. He's also helped me to learn how to play guitar, and pushed me to keep at it when I wanted so badly to give up. RTS is my best buddy and I wouldn't trade him for a sack o' nickels.
July 27, 200818 yr Author Crown Royal...really? And the .357 is a good one. Tis true, minus the beer, as small of an amount of Crown Royal it was. Baby steps, you know. The .357 is for real too and is what this thread is about, he's about to purchase a Ruger GP100. He already has all the goodies for it such as gun case, ammo box, ammo, cleaning kit, trigger lock (safety first) and, of course, HKS speedloaders. :ylsuper: Next baby step... BEER!

July 27, 200818 yr Author Allow me to qualify these statements. I've gone from Barry Manilow to Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.True - Something had to be done here, and in a hurry! :creepy: I've gone from Coke & milk to Royal Crown & beer.Half true, a little sip here and there of a drink with Crown Royal in it, no beer. I've (unintentionally) taken my aging parents to a psychic porn show, where they were both accosted by a half-naked fat guy, right in front of me.Completely true! I never laughed so hard in all my life, it was a hilarious event to witness.   I've been nearly involved in a number of (potentially) ugly altercations -- including one I almost started myself.True again, the price of hanging around with me. I've been hanging out in beer halls and cabarets until all hours of the night.True, some of you have witnessed this yourself, something he's never done before to my knowledge. :fire: I got caught in a rainstorm. And with an umbrella that leaked. :walk: I've modified (not changed) my views on issues such as global warming, immigration, and welfare reform. He's slowly coming around folks, baby steps. I nearly knocked out (accidentally) the lead actress in a musical comedy.True, but in that place it's not surprising, very tight quarters. I spilled a whole Coke in a Mexican Restaurant. Is anyone surprised at this? I (accidentally) semi-molested a waitress.Another hilarious event, and she was darn hot looking! BTW, you didn't seem too upset about it. :sssh:  And a few things that I can't even begin to talk about in this forum.

Well thank you BF, I appreciate that. I feel honored to know that I might have had a small role in you returning to your faith. You've help me learn to mellow a bit, that's a hard task for anyone as you well know. :thumb: The feeling is mutual, my friend and I wouldn't trade you a sack o' nickels either. :ylsuper:
July 27, 200818 yr Half true, a little sip here and there of a drink with Crown Royal in it, no beer.Yeah; but compared to all the years before, it's a profound change. Not necessarily a good change; but a change none the less.
