Yep, it's an animated movie. I believe there will be a live action TV show in the near future as well. Supposedly the initial TV series will be set between Episode 3 and 4, while it may not focus on the more popular characters, those characters may make a cameo.

July 29, 200818 yr Well I do enjoy Star Wars (well the ones I have watched) and it still doesn't interest me. Almost exactly what I was going to say. So far, no Han = no good. (Well, Ep. 2 and 3 were pretty good I reckon, but still, Han Solo brought CHARACTER to the originals).

July 30, 200818 yr ram, we need to talk. :walk: I KNOW you were offended by my meager compliments towards ep. 2 and 3, and NOT Han Solo. Ever since they made him shoot second, I've set up a natural "Han Solo was awesome" defense against anything 1990+ that George Lucas was involved with.

July 30, 200818 yr Author Despite Pep's generation bias opinion:D:sssh::jump:, my son's generation loves the last (first) 3 as much as we did the first (last) 3. And in 20 years if 7,8 or 9 is done, he will probably treat them the way Pep has treated 1, 2, 3.:thumb:

For what it is worth as I got older I realized how stupid the Ewoks were, so age does make a difference.

You won't like this but I find the original one, Star Wars with Luke, very boring through most of the movie. It and the last with the Ewoks are the ones I find least entertaining. Now, the New Hope one does pick up when Han gets involved but Mark Hamill makes Christian Hayden look like Jack Nicholson.
