We Are Marshall - The starting scene where you get a good look at the Huntington area gives me chills because I've flown that route so much.

This movie did it to me too...when the board meeting is interuppted by the chant of "We Are Marshall" and also when the coach is hitting Ruffin's shoulder in the locker room.

The scene in Field of Dreams when Burt Lancaster crosses the base line.

For me, it's right after that; when "Moonlight Graham" has just only gotten to bat once before his 2nd opportunity is over.

As he leaves the field, Shoeless Joe says "Hey Rookie - you were good."

Gives me chills just thinking about it.

Remember the Titans - at the Gettysburg cemetary

Saving Private Ryan - years later when Ryan and his family vist the cemetary in France and he says "tell me I was a good man."

The Day After Tomorrow - when the one guy falls through the top of the mall and cuts himself loose to save the others.

We Were Soldiers - so many places

Saving Private Ryan - years later when Ryan and his family vist the cemetary in France and he says "tell me I was a good man."

Agreed.

And at the end of "We Were Soldiers", when Col. Moore says "I'll never forgive myself...because my troopers died, and I didn't."

The "Survivors' Guilt" in both movies is very moving.

Definitely one of the best ones that has been mentioned in this thread. To me that is the most powerful scene in the movie.

And We Were Soldiers definitely did have tons.

The closing scenes of:

"E.T."

"Saving Private Ryan"

"Schindler's List"

"Almost Famous"

"Rudy"

"The Deer Hunter"

"City Lights"

"Penny Serenade"

"It's A Wonderful Life"

"The Wizard Of Oz"
