BGElite
That is awesome that Jenkins is getting those looks, even though he isn't on a high profile team. I was worried that he wouldn't get the looks without the big team name. This just shows you that he is one of the best in the state, if not the best! Really wish BCG would come watch him, maybe the next Lofton! Hope he stay HOT! BCG, coach Cox and Coach Webster have all attended Jenkins' games at It Takes 5 and the HoopFest. Kentucky Gators won again and are in the championship game in the Mountaineer Division.

BGElite
DS 17's took a loss against a tough King James team in bracket play. They will move to the Bronze division and play a team out of West Virginia.
shooterx3
DS 17'S LOST 60-51 to Lebrun James and Dru Joyce's club out of Ohio. DS hung tough but King James had a little too much length to go along with their athleticism although DS wasted several opportunities to make it interesting in the end. Next up is the Wva Rush, which has two wvu recruits and a kid out of South Point named Mayo that should generate some interest. Will be fun playing against a Mayo again. DS is now in the "bronze" tournament which is all the pool winners who made it to the final 16. No easy games at this point, but that is what gets the college guys to watch. Just got word through the airwaves about 9:30PM that DS17U beat the WVA Rush tonight that had the two West Virginia recruits. DS17U is 4-1 over the two days against stiff competetion and play again in the morning. In the three games today Ferguson had 27, 18, and 20 and hit 16 or 17 treys in the three games. For all you Elliott County fans got word that Ethan and Evan also played great with Evan getting 4 treys in one of the games. Your Elliott County trio is playing the best around the country and making quite a name for themselves with their outstanding summer play against some of the top HS players in America. This will only make them battle ready for their senior seasons next year and increase their confidence that they can beat anybody that takes the court. These three will put Sandy Hook on some new maps before next season is finished!!!!
shooterx3
DS did play their best game of the tournament tonight as Ethan Faulkner was matched against the #11 rated point guard in the country Noah Cottrill who has already verballed to wvu. Cottrill had a few more points (14-9) but Ethan was all over the floor with several picks and about 10 assists, constantly setting up Evan and Ferg who ended with 19 apiece and 5 3's apiece. I guess that makes Ethan the #10 point guard IN THE COUNTRY! Most of their scoring was in the first half as DS just blitzed the WVA team from the tip. Leonard Macon was playing above the rim with several thunder dunks and as the 6'10 kid who has verballed with WVU was no match for Leonard's speed at this stage of his career.Richie Phares also had some big time plays in a total team effort. DS moves on to the semi finals of the Bronze division and I believe they are the only Kentucky team still playing on Wednesday. Although Kentucky has been well represented in this tournament from all the Kentucky teams:thumb:
BGElite
Kentucky did rep well. Anytime you can fare this well and acquire offers is a good thing. I watched Cottrill play twice, including the game they lost that sent them to the bronze. Was not impressed and struggled mightily in that loss. He will have to get much better for the Big East

He is a MAN CHILD who is big, strong, agile, quick, and POWER is his game. Like the new movie, he is like the INCREDIBLE HULK with basketball skills. He is 6'6" but with his strength can play those 6'10" guys and make them real sore after the game. Like I said before he will make UK a great football player with his athleticism!!! And a real nice young man to boot!!!! GO Leonard!!!

No matter how you word it, he was umimpressive and that might be the reason he took a drop down to the AAU team he is playing with now. Sometimes early commits, as we are seeing a few today, don't develop.
d-dawg
It's something how we all see things differently. It seem as though the closer the boys live to home, the better they are. :ylsuper:
