July 1, 200818 yr Excuse me for asking, but I haven't checked the newswires lately. Have the Dallas Cowboys signed Cedric Benson? Are they bringing back Michael Irvin? Did they sign Michael Vick, then declare that Vick needs a "family support system," so they will sign his brother Marcus, too? The Cowboys have been America's Team for three decades. Now it seems like they're building America's Most Wanted's team. It wasn't enough for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to bring in Terrell Owens when Owens was considered the most selfish player in the NFL. He had to bring in serial gun nut Tank Johnson. Then this spring, he acquired cornerback Adam (nee Pacman) Jones, who has been arrested six times. Clearly, Jones is a man who believes in seventh chances. LINK
July 1, 200818 yr Cowboys haven't won a playoff game in goodness knows how long, I would say Mr. Jones is a tad tired of hearing that statistic. Not to mention that the Cowboys have become the Yankees of the NFL. A lot of hype, a lot of talk and a lot of buildup, but at the end of the day (in the last several years) nadda.
July 1, 200818 yr T.O. nor Tank have caused any problems since they have arrived in Big-D. It has only been short lived, but neither has Adam Jones so far. Writers can write what they have to in order to get their reviews, but fact of the matter is Jerry Jones is running a pretty good charm school program at the moment. It is true he may have brought in a couple of NFL's badboys, but to say they have still been naughty instead of model players in the league since arriving in Dallas would be doing everyone at Valley Ranch a dishonesty. When these so called nightmares reap havoc again then I will admit to them being nuisances, but while they are still on their best behavior and enjoying whatever chance they are on, I will keep on commending Jerry and his staff on a job well done. :thumb:

July 1, 200818 yr I almost applaude Dallas for being able to take players with such bad reputations and turn them into crickets. There have been zero problems from the troubled players since they arrived in Big D! I think you have to tip your hat to Calvin Hill + Jerry Jones for the program they have run to help troubled players. Guys like Shockey + CJ have caused way more of a stir than T.O. or Tank. I'm all for giving guys a 2nd chance but I'm not crazy about it when it gets past that. I think Dallas has done a great job of making their organization a team first kind of place. If they can keep Adam Jones out of trouble then wow!
July 1, 200818 yr The difference between the Bengals and Dallas... Dallas bad boys seem to stay out of trouble, not exactly the same for our guys.
July 1, 200818 yr The difference between the Bengals and Dallas... Dallas bad boys seem to stay out of trouble, not exactly the same for our guys. Incorrect. The difference is Dallas wins and Cincy loses. Dallas players have had more than their fair share of run-ins with the law.
July 1, 200818 yr BTW, HB20 is to Dallas as I am to UK hoops. Actually, he might be worse about tossing out jabs, if that's possible.

July 1, 200818 yr Author BTW, HB20 is to Dallas as I am to UK hoops. Actually, he might be worse about tossing out jabs, if that's possible. Is that a compliment?

July 2, 200818 yr Incorrect. The difference is Dallas wins and Cincy loses. Dallas players have had more than their fair share of run-ins with the law. Cincy's main problems started when they began to win? All the arrests and such began the offseason after making the playoffs.
