Ky beat Alabama one year but that may have been under Morris. Actually he had 2 seasons of .500 or better. Played and lost in the Outback (vs Penn St) and Music City (Syracuse) bowl games.
June 19, 200818 yr We are not talking about morals and ethics, I am talking about coaching and recruiting. When Mumme left he left a nice pool of talent for Morris. Now grant it his last year of recruiting wasn't very good because the NCAA infractions were hanging over his head. Your right we won't agree, having to many players with morals and ethics will have you looking for a new job........Bill Curry. Every team needs a few outlaws. Mumme had his best seasons with Curry recruits. He only got in trouble with his own. Yes, he certainly did leave Morris some good talent. However, how that talent came to UK is what got him in trouble. Brooks took over the program when it was headed directly into the rocks and righted the ship with no hints at doing anything the wrong way.

July 1, 200818 yr I hate the position he put the Cats in with the probation and what not, but that offense was TONS OF FUN to watch. I wish we still had the Air Raid attack. "Air Raid attack" = Dink and Dunk, no running game and what about bowl wins (or quality wins against the likes of Georgia and LSU)?
