Oh, and as an added bonus, he happens to know everything about every detail of the game going on, plus other fascinating topics such as nuclear fission, micro-neuro brain surgery, what ails the economy and the Reds, and the best route to take from here to East Nowhere. Regarding "The Excuse Maker": If there is one comment I simply can't stand and have seen hundreds of times on this website, it's the tired old cliche, "Our team didn't come to play today." What is actually being said is: "Your team outplayed our team and was clearly the better team today, but I have no intention of giving them that credit and will take the position that you basically just got lucky by catching us on an "off" day."

June 13, 200818 yr My wife is a socialite and I absolutely hate going to any games with her. I am there to watch the game and enjoy it and dont want to be bothered with questions about: Why did he do that? What is the score? What is that penalty for? ...and countless other mundane questions that all sports fans would automatically know the answer to. But she is my wife and I love her so I tolerate it. Besides, she is nice to look at!
