Is Matt Walls Transfering to UK as a Walk on?

I heard Matt Walls, a guard from Marshall University, plans on transfering to UK as a walk on. This is a player who finished runner up Mr Basketball and was the Sweet Sixteen MVP. He also played 25 minutes per game at Marshall as a Freshman and averaged 7 pts a game including 25 points against East Tennessee State.

That would be great. He is a better player than Porter, and with Jasper leaving, I'd love to see him on the court. He actually reminds me of a less versatile Jasper.

Not to nit-pick, but Walls wasn't a SW16 MVP. Mackey was MVP that year.

I watched Walls play at Marshall in a few games this past season. He would be a great walk on addition. He has a very nice shot and gives it his all. He is fairly athletic as well.

There's been talk of rearranging the seating at Rupp so that entire side of the arena could be UK's bench.. Still in the planning stages for now.
