Bush was a legacy, and a gentleman's C student. He might have the pedigree degree, but don't kid yourself on its value.

You need to quit kidding yourself. I am no Bush fan boy but he has a history degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard. I don't care what his average was, he is no moron.

I know plenty of people that were Ivy league, and they all agreed that once a student got in, there was nothing exceptional about making it to graduation... and that legacies (especially of Bush's caliber) never have to worry about getting in.

My experience visiting friends up north was that Ivy league schools were some of the biggest party schools I'd ever seen.

I have gained a lot of respect for Hillary this campaign season. Tough and tenacious, she has outshined even her politically polished spouse.

I have a very simple answer to the question .............

D.) None Of The Above

Tough question.

Obama is a socialist raised by a hippie mom.

Kerry is a moron.

And Hillary is Satan's spawn.

I think personally she ran a tough campaign... but her organization (which was supposed to be invincible and win it for her by 2/5) was what the Spaniards call El Terrible.

Yeah, that's why she lost.

That may very well be at your age group. My age is just a bit younger than Bush and I too know plenty of people who graduated Ivy League and their opinion is quite a bit different than your friends as to what it takes to get a degree . Haven't discussed legacies with them so your friends may very well be right on that as it is common at many universities. I guarantee you no Harvard MBA is earned without a lot of work and brains.
