Anyone travel down to UofL for the state meet? Any news? I'm specifically interested in the 3A boys, but all are welcome. Also, before anyone gives me a link to the KHSAA, I've already been there. They only list the lane assignments for the day. Thanks!

In 1A, Bardstown won the boys team championship and NewCath won the girls.

Male's Green won the 100, 200, and 400m. This is a extraordinary feat. Congrats to him and all the athletes who compteted this weekend.

What happened to Rocks girls? Must have had a bad day.

Who won girls 4A? I cannot find it in the paper today.

There is no 4A in track. It only goes to 3A.

Any more pics? I'm hoping you have some of the 2A girls State Champs. It was history making. First time for Highlands girls to win a Track State Championship and taking it from the 7th or 8 time winner P. Tillman.

Congrats to Highlands girls track team. Also Congrats to Trey Jurgens for winning the Discuss. I heard it was actually 15 ft. longer than his personal best. I think he had an angel on his shoulder.:thumb:

Congrats to Somerset's John Cole on winning the 100 M in 1A. He ended up with several single season and career receiving records as well as this state title in track, in spite of the fact that he spent the majority of the spring playing baseball. Good luck at Vanderbilt!
