Which of the running offenses Coach French has used will be installed at Boyle?

Jordan Walker is back on the field and I believe Cox is as well. Phillip Mason has been taking some snaps, but have note heard if the Smith kid has worked any at QB spot. Aumiller is working at TE.

Supposed to be working the field between the hash marks and creating a new crown. Also heard artificial surface is in the works...again, but depends upon fund raising.

Wow, artificial turf would be lovely. You mean after all those bingo nights there still is a need for cash?

Another poker tournament with better promotion and advertising would be nice also. Heck, I would donate money for the artificial turf cause and donating my money is a stretch for me, but I'd love to see it.

 

I heard at bball camp today that the big redhead playing with the bball team is the qb next year. Is this the same kid from Lawrence County?

Yeah, that kid's name is Boone and apparently all the kids think he is the qb next year. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Bingo just pays the "bills" and with the economy, no telling when that will dry up. We will know more about the turf after next QB club meeting. We are hoping everyone has your attitude about donating. A little from a lot of people will go a long way to getting to our goal. Spread the word please.

From outsider looking in, if BC was willing to offer Guy Morriss $100k+ to coach, it would seem raising the money for turf would be easy at BC.

 

But I also know things are rarely as they seem and raising money is never easy.

From what I herd on the story it wasn't even half of 100K for the final offer. Thats the reason he didn't come. And IMO we got the better coach at Boyle now.

That doesn't surprise me...although the folks that posted that $$ sure seemed to be in the know.

I got to see Boone play basketball today. Nice sized kid, will contribute to the bball team. Word around the camp is that he is the real deal when it comes to football. I know noone has come out and said it is a done deal but it sure seems that way since he is at bball camp with the team. Did he play last year at Lawrence County? Wouldn't he have to sit out or would he be exempt from the transfer rule since his dad would likely be a coach? Anyone have any info on that?

I too, am excited about Boyle Football for the first time in the last 3 years. I hope the whole Goldsmith thing works out too, because it would no doubt benefit the Rebels immensely. However, it will not be a season maker or breaker should it not. I feel really good about our returning players and the return of some players that saw significant time as Sophomores (Ben Slone, Dre Cox, Jordan Walker) but sit out last season for whatever reason. The future looks bright as well with some really good sophomores this season. We will be a senior dominated team this year with lots of experience, I hope these Seniors seize their moment. I feel like this team is poised to make some real noise. As for the artificial turf, that would be really nice but would take some pretty significant donations to get it done. I would make my donation but wouldn't consider it to be significant.
