What is your favorite rifles for the following situaitons...

 

For brushy short distance shots.....

I like the 44magnum for brush

I use a remington 700bdl chambered in 243 win for longer shots!

For short brushy distances I like the M-249 Squad automatic weapon.

For the short shots I also like the 30-30, but I also use a .243. For my longer shots which don't come up very often in my case I use a 30-06 or a 25-06.

I love my Remington 700 7MM Mag. for ANY situation!

 

 

I also think the 30-06 is a good all around deer rifle, hunted with one for years!

My caliber of choice is the 308 Winchester. I also like the 270. I plan on going to the new 300 Winchester short magnum when I go for game larger than elk.

Folks yall need to see his 7MM. It is the sharpest gun Ive ever seen in my life.

I use the same gun for all those situations. A 270 remington model 700. An awesome gun to use for long range, short range, thick brush, just about anything.

When you get this find me on the IM or call me, I found one that looks about as good that is VERY buyable! Its got the custom tricks just like mine :thumb:

Just kidding around, those are military Rifles that I would prefer to have in those situations, if I were in combat. Sorry but I find overkill humorous, when I see guys taking these huge guns with them hunting when all they need is a 22 or a bow I think it is funny. I was seeing if anyone else felt the same way. Sorry if I offended you, I was just teaseing. I prefer a remington 22.
