Yes, he was the Boys Head Coach at Raceland in the 80's, the Boys Head Coach at Russell in the 90's, he had a stint at Rose Hill, and at Ohio University - Southern Campus.

 

:thumb: Reed has also been the boys coach at Lawrence Co, Either Fairland or Chesapeke in Ohio along with ones that you mentioned in Raceland, Russell, Rose Hill, OU Southeren campus and maybe others that I can't think of. Reed has been several places for fairly short time at each.

Lady devils and coach Reed will be fine. With two of the regions top ten players returning in Simpson and Parsley and several good young players returning as well. Biggest challenge is getting the total number of players up from the last couple of years.

Is Parsley's Dad going to help him. He played college and could be a big asset to the program. Is Cassity going to help?

Heard his daughter was going to be his assistant. Nothing wrong with that, Rex has done it for years. You shouldn't assume too much of anything...especially about me...except my good looks!

I am not happy about my prediction about Cassity not coming to pass but hey even Simon Cowl had picked David Archuletta to win American Idol.

Coach Kidwell IMO did not get out, he simply applied for a job and got it. I believe if not he would have stayed on girls coach and done a great job!

I will stick to my guns about Kidwell getting while he could. Now on to other things...With a quick gaze into my crystal ball I see Coach Reed asking his former standout player Phil Cassity to help him with the girls. IMO, this will become a very wise move for Reed. The former coach and player re-united!
