Jimmy Carter is the strongest possible argument against teaming an inexperienced, naive liberal Democrat with a like-minded Congress.

President Obama has the judgement and temperament to lead this country and begin to undo the damage of the past few years. You may wish to brush up on your math skills. Senator Obama took office in January 2005. Any way you calculate it, that is a lot more than one third of a senate term. Maybe so, but Bush is not running for the presidency. His term is over, and now we have a choice of candidates that have their own agenda. To compare McCain to Bush in political philosophy is a stretch.
