May 6, 200818 yr I was at Busch last night, I hate Cardinal fans, they are so modest:madman: Seriously, I was there with one of my best friends who's a huge Card fan, well we go and cheer for our team and talk baseball but we never really try and heckle the other, but for some reason 3 Cardinal fans were sitting behind us (drunk of course) and ran there mouths the whole game, trashing everything from Wrigley to Soriano. About the 3rd time one of them nudge me and said something about Wrigley, I had to turn around and tell him in a not so friendly statement or tone that if he touched me again I'd break the arm that was attached to that hand. He didn't say a word the rest of the evening... Just remember. Cardinal fans are the best in baseball and the Cubs are the worst.
May 6, 200818 yr Did you watch Saturday's game when FOX predicted what would happen on the next pitch? Pay attention to the graphics at the top of the screen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXQ4PvGwagg That is hilarious.

May 6, 200818 yr I'm predicting the cubs will suffer a 3 game sweep in cincinnati this week....one down, two to go! GO REDS!!!
May 6, 200818 yr Tigers designated Jaque Jones for assignment today. Hitting a robust .165 on the season with a Corey Patterson-like .244 OBP. Jim Hendry -- don't you dare answer that phone! He's calling Dusty in Cincinnati ... he wants to get on the "addition by subtraction" bandwagon when Dunn and Griffey are traded.
May 7, 200818 yr Pie = Patterson I honestly think Pie will come around. I would take him for the Reds and put him at leadoff, and play him in CF everyday. I'll give you Josh Fogg for him.
May 7, 200818 yr I don't think he will. I see so many of the same qualities in him as far as his approach to hitting as I did with Patterson. Won't take pitches. Won't change his stance. Swings at fastballs in his eyes and breaking balls in the dirt. \ And they both wore #20.
May 9, 200818 yr Author Finally back in the win column today. Woody pitched a beautiful 9th inning. His breaking ball was nasty today--I wish he could command it like that all the time!
May 10, 200818 yr Very nice win against a darn good team. After that bad road trip, nice to get this series off to a good start.
May 10, 200818 yr Getting back home seems to be curing their ails with another win over the D-backs. Dempster looked good yet again. Zambrano pitches for the sweep Sunday.
