Can anyone beat PRP this year?

Featured Replies

Hmm. A loss to Bowling Green and St. X.

I don't want to downplay a great win for the Tigers last night but for the people that were there, PRP is for real. Trey Harper and Franz are good pitchers but they're not Zach Cox and Kris Sipes. X pitched their best 2 against PRP's 3 and 4 and we came out on top. PRP's second batter hit 3 shots that ended up as 5 outs. Zach Osborne hit a shot that should of scored 2 runs but X came up with a web gem. The game could of turned on a number of things-including just a little call in the tenth whether the batter avoided the inside pitch and pushed the reventual winning runner up a base.

PRP will be heard from.

PRP plays St X, Butler and Eastern in a 4 day stretch. One of them will beat PRP.

A sports radio host said on a radio sports program that a lot of sports radio call in programs do not have a lot of indepth, scrutinizing comments from listners. Sometimes I wonder if that statement applies to a some per centage of post on message boards? But the bottom line, HHS, was that your comments showed a lot of truth and frankness about PRP notching a loss in the series that they were playing. Baseball is tough for any team in one game match-ups. Number ones in the country in college baseball often have a relatively sizeable number of losses. But PRP may be better prepared for the state tournament, actually, taking a loss or two now. They might have a better focus and hunger to make their strongest run since the mid-90's for a state championship.

Greenup County is playing some good ball right now I would say they could play with anyone in the state.

Very true, and I know the boys would love another crack at PRP.

The great thing about baseball is that anyone can beat anyone on any given day.

It appears that quite a few teams can beat PRP during the last fortnight or so, much less this year.

They are a good solid team and if the matchup fall out right, they will give PRP a great game..
