Well that is all in the past now. It is time for Owen Co football to move on and support Coach Fowler, the assistants,(who ever they are) and the players.

Dang those pesky outsiders!:confused: But seriously, that is exactly what you need at Owen,and if your community wants a successful football program you have picked a good coach.You need to throw your support behind your new coach and so do the rest at OC.

Did I miss something???? When did Gallitan or Carroll become unbeatable? They both have good coaches and some talent.

 

If it can be turn around at Trimble then it can be done at Owen.

I hope to Fowler is the one to turn the program around. I wish him the best over there. If he can handle their administration then he can handle anything..

We'll try to get him on the show for next week. Glad to hear this has finally been settled. Hopefully, the asst. coaches have kept the boys interest and aren't too far behind.

I agree. I hope those boys do respect him and have a great season. The assistants have stayed in contact with those boys almost daily.

One thing in Owen County's favor is a great Little League Football Program. They have been very successful competing with all of the neighboring counties the past several years. I think we also have some great talent in place that just needs to be cultivated and motivated. Nothing a good coach can't handle. Good luck coach, we are excited at Owen. I would first try to spell his name right, it's Jon Hopkins (there is no H in his name). Then I would tell him he has a better chance getting the Pope Bennadict to come to Owen than he does getting Jon to come back.
