I see that everyone seems to agree with me on this. Tamme imo will be sucsessful with a team and system like the Colts have. Dungee and the Colts imo got a steal.

One of my favorite Wildcats ever! I love it that he's a Colt! He's got a chance to work with one of the best QB's ever, The Colts use a good bit of TE

I think Tamme will have a very good career in Indy. I mean he is basically another Dallas Clark and Peyton loves it. Tamme will get instant playing time if he does well in camp. I mean Clark has had injury issues about every season and can't play every down. If Tamme can give a good impression and show how good he is then he will be the future TE of this team. I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch, just stating the potential that Tamme has!

This may have been one of the best matches of the entire draft (so was Brohm and Henne), for both the team and the player. I will now root for a Wildcat....awesome.

Perfect fit, both on and off the field. I love this pick for the Colts.

I already liked the Colts, but now its all set. Jacob is a great match for the Colts. He is a very good football, but he's an ever better person. I wish him all the luck in the world and hope to be watching him for years to come on Sundays.

In all seriousness though I think this is a good fit for Tamme. The Colts love to use their TE's and they also love their versitile TE's who can catch and score the football. Tamme is certainly that. The Colts have also showed that other than Dallas Clark they are pretty expendable with their TE's which means it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to see them cut some guys who regularly get some PT. I think Dungy will find that Tamme is going to be a lot better than they ever thought and that his size will not play no where near the factor as pretty much every team thinks that its going to.

I agree, the size of Tamme's heart will far outweigh any disadvantage that some think that he will have. I may be wrong but I also think that J.T. just may end up being the more sucsessful of all of the draftees from our Ky. schools (U.K./U.L./EKU) this season. Only time will tell and I wish all of them good luck and want to see them do well.

(If anyone from any other in state school was drafted then I apologize and just missed it, I am pretty sure that I saw where an EKU player was drafted, I could be wrong though)

UL had 5 or 6 guys drafted.

:thumb:As I will now root for a Cardinal.......................

I just look at it that he is not a Cardinal anymore and is playing on a team that is a favorite of mine. (it really helps ease the pain and excuse the abnormal action)

I knew that they had a few and U.K. had 4 I believe, not sure.

:thumb: That was my best shot, all I can offer.

I think Jacob will have a productive career.

This is a great fit for both Tamme and the Colts. Tamme gets the chance to learn from some of the best in the business and the Colts get a guy who is all class and will work his tail off to be successful.

This was my favorite pick in the draft.

As many have already alluded to, Tamme could not have been drafted in to a better situation. He fits the mold of what the Colts like to do with their TE's in that he can split out and will not be required to blast defenders off the ball.

The reason Indy, New England, Philly, etc. are good on a yearly basis is because they draft really well. This is a great fit and I have no doubt Tamme will see a lot of action in the coming years.
