UK Fans Need to Stay Off MySpace

I agree this is very inappropriate. It is his decision, and his only.

It obviously wouldn't be as interesting if UK fans didn't have a history of MySpace harassment.

:sssh:

Much like your history sheds light on your agenda. :thumb:

Hopson could always change his name and pic and make his profile private, but I'm sure everyone already knew that...

after seeing the way some of you acted in the threads I would not doubt that UK fans did that. Before he committed to UT you were licking your chops, after he committed to UT alot of you changed you tune saying "he wouldnt have made it" or " he was lazy."

Some were also saying he was lazy before that too, HM97.....

While the advice is mighty kind, 02Ram, I would almost certainly bet that anyone who is messaging potential recruits on Myspace doesn't read this board to heed your suggestions.

congrats on making it out of hoptown man, just keep up the hard work and you'll make it big one day, dont listen to all of these UK fans on here man, they will turn your back on you faster than anything and they think the world begins and ends with UK basketball, you made the right choice in going to UT. You hold down Hoptown on the court and I'll hold it down on the field. Once again congrats and keep up the good work boi.

Pulley's comments were puzzling. He said don't worry about all of these Uk fans, they will turn their back on you faster than anything. They think the world begins and ends with UK basketball. You made the right choice going to UT. Doesn't seem like an ambassador for the university.

I don't ever remember UK fans turning their back on Pulley, wonder why the sour grapes?

I wondered the same thing about his attitude toward UK.

Let's see if I get this right:

Pulley gets school paid for and a chance to develop into a professional quarterback. He gets the opportunity to make mistakes and having them washed away and comes back to accolades and the chance to be the starter at QB next season. The only rough part to his situation is having to compete for the spot, but he did beat out the graduating starter once before and had school problems (of his own doing) and couldn't play. I'm not following where the "back-turning" came into play on this.

He then rips into the school and it's fan base (over a player in HS who plays a different sport and will do it at one of his school's biggest rivals) before he himself even takes to the field in a meaningful role.

Yeah, I can see where the school system he is in is just laying it to him!

IF he(Pulley) really feels this way about UK and the powers that be, maybe he should rethink being here and get away for the common good.

Sounds like he is really going to be a fan favorite in the Richie Farmer/Joker Phillips mold!!!

Like it or not, they're genuine 18%ers.

Your last statement proved that you do not know what the famous 18% was all about, has nothing to do with if a kid signs with U.T. or not or if anyone is complaining about it.....:lol:.

So that is just one of many areas where you are wrong about things :D. :walk:

after seeing the way some of you acted in the threads I would not doubt that UK fans did that. Before he committed to UT you were licking your chops, after he committed to UT alot of you changed you tune saying "he wouldnt have made it" or " he was lazy."

If you go back and read the threads you will find that the same people were saying the same things about Hopson then too. Nobody has changed their mind about him since he verballed to UT. You will find that a lot of UK fan didn't want him before he verballed. I have never seen him play, so I can not comment on his style of play. I just wish him the best of luck, but still hope UT loses every game.:D

I do think it happens everywhere, JJ got lambasted by Virginia faithful, and he never even cam close to committing there. These are UK fans doing it. They are the state school here, so it is in our face more. Fact is, they aren't helping their favorite school in anyway, by being a fan or not.

What does poor mistreated little J.J. have to do with it? Again, all anyone was saying was how can one be sure that it is a U.K. fan doing it, not that it was justified or right.

UK fans need to stay off of myspace

JMO but anyone needs to stay off MySpace, that is about as big of piece of junk and useless crap that has ever been.

^ How could you prove it's not It happens for every team, I am sure.

1. How can you prove that it is? 2. I agree, even U.L. and Duke I would say.

Again, as Wireman stated there is no way to be totally sure who the posters support. It is not correct to group everyone that support Uk athletics into one profile. Also I don't think most on here stated it wasn't UK fans, they simply ask how you can be sure taht is was and that is IMO a legit question. I'm sure you agree with that.

As you mentioned every team has a certain group that like to mix things up but you have to consider what web-site they are posting on. I don't put to much faith into anything that is written on my space.

1. :thumb: although that is what is happening here. 2. You said that you don't put "Much" faith in anything on Myspace, you give myspace way more credibility than I do.

It obviously wouldn't be as interesting if UK fans didn't have a history of MySpace harassment.

:sssh:

So now you are a myspace police and know beyond any doubt that ALL harrasment on mspace is done by U.K. fans.....I can understand that.

As for the original thread title, this is one U.K. fan that stays off of myspace and I firmly believe that there are plenty of other U.K. fans along with fans of other schools that stay off of myspace. JMO but myspace=mycrap!

I personally do not feel the need to go behind a pc keyboard to lie about myself to find friends, I really feel sorry for the poor saps that do so but to each their own. I am not saying that all on myspace or other imo sites like it are this way but I would be willing to bet that there are plenty, possibly even a few on here as well, who knows?.

All I am saying is that "lumping" all U.K. fans or any other for that matter into one group to me shows me alot more about the one/ones that are doing the fnger pointing than the guilty parties themselves.....(something to do with pot and kettle or glass houses :sssh::sleep:)

It wouldnt bother me to see Pulley leave. I wonder if the coaching staff is aware of what Pulley has said. If you dont like it, get out of here. We dont need Pulley anyway. I'd much rather see Hartline play.
