2003 basketball IQ much better than 2008 crop and also had a much better coach. Kelly Wells would have eate O'Hearn alive.

2003 may lack size but they make up for it in speed, smarts, and strength. The '03 team lacked size in many games they played but still managed to rebound very efficiently. The '03 team would win by 20+

 

I'd say that you are wrong. In '03, the team got VERY VERY VERY lucky to beat St. Henry. St. Henry's front line averaged around 6'5". This year's Mason team had a very long front line. In '03 Mason had Lofton to take over, but Miller can take over both inside, outside, and you can run your offense through him due to his passing ability. After watching Middleton handle Henderson's pressure, I would say that the '03 press wouldn't bother '08 as much as one would think. I don't know enough about either team to say, but having seen both, I don't see either winning by 20.

The high school game has increased in its pace and physical play since 2003. I know its a short period of time, but the high school has gotten more physical.

I think that the 2003 team would win. Thy were really good, and no one on the 2008 squad could stop Chris Lofton.

No way 2003 team beats this team because of one BIG 6' 7'' reason, nobody could stop Miller. He would have his way in the post. If Setty was hot the 2008 team would beat 2003 team by 10+ IMO.

All you have to do is get physical with Darius,make him lose his composure and he will make silly fouls. Clark County did it last season(Jones) and Jarrod was always good at doing that his whole career against bigger,more athletic players

No way .... This team was on life support against Elliott County. No knock on Elliott County, but they weren't as good as the 2003 Mason team.

The 03 team was a Great team. This 08 team is a Pretty Good team. I would take the 03 team by 10+.
