Lex No way would Wells have eaten O'Hearn alive. Kelly Wells was an adequate coach while O'Hearn is superb. O'Hearn and his talented staff know the Xs and Os of the game as evidenced by the performance of the Royals at Rupp. The game plan against Holmes was masterful and gritty performance against Elliott testimony to O'Hearn's leadership abilities. Not to mention the emotional roller coaster the Royals went through with the situation involving player who cant be named. The Royals simply refused to wilt, believed in themselves and found a way to win all due to O'Hearn's leadership.

Speaking of winning, I was at the tourney and was chagrined to hear so much talk of points spread and money being bet on high school games. I personally like to gamble but such activity should have no place in high school sports. I wonder what your thoughts are as you seem to be a long time avid follower of high school basketball and must have observed this phenomon from time to time.
