March 24, 200818 yr For once I agree with the NFL. Get rid of the locks flowing out of the helmet. Or give extra credit for taking a man down by his hair.

I have seen Troy P. get tackled by his hair a couple years ago after an interception, he got right up and smiled. He plays defense though so he knows it won't happen too often.

Just change the rule to say the hair is part of the jersey. However, the only problem with this is that most of the players with long hair play on the defensive side of the ball. As for tucking it up in the helmet, there's no way the NFL will allow that either. They'll be compromising the safety of the helmet.
