March 15, 200818 yr Hearing that guy say Shawty and Lil' Mama was pretty darn hilarioius...
March 15, 200818 yr :laugh:So I wasn't the only one who noticed that. Haha, definitely not. I kept thinking when that popped up "he's not gonna say it, he's not gonna say it.." and then he did. I couldn't help but laugh out loud. I'm glad I'm not the only one. "Get Loose Shawty" by Lil' Mama....
March 15, 200818 yr It must be very humid in there with the way they are wiping down the floor so much
March 15, 200818 yr Crawford's havin' a hard time. This time out will do him some good. As the announcer said.."he's one tired cat". haha.
March 15, 200818 yr They let family and friends of the university in, and the media. According to the announcers. If that place seats 9,000 ppl or so, I don't see why they couldn't atleast let the ppl with the 9,000 best seats in. Another thought, although this would be way too complicated, is if they could get only the UK/UGA fans in, and then have them leave for the next game. Only have the fans of the teams playing in there. I believe that's wishful thinking though. That would also require finding a printer after midnight who could turn around a ticket job of 8,000 or so in less than 12 hours, and within that 12 hours also get the tickets redistributed to fans. Plus, how do you determine which fans get a ticket, since there were many more seats sold for the GaDome than are available in Alexander? It would've been a logistical nightmare to deal with tickets on top of the logistical nightmare of getting a different place lined up to play and getting all the equipment transported over in an area damaged by storms, as well as many other issues, in the short order the SEC officials did. They should be credited just for getting this game started as soon as possible, under the circumstances.
March 15, 200818 yr The block by Stewart was about as clean as they come. The funny part was that the announcer said he got him with the body, when his body was some 2 feet away, with another player in between.

They would make the announcement and then only accept those tickets. No need to print and redistribute new tickets. But I agree, it was a great job by everyone involved to get the game off in such short notice.
March 15, 200818 yr Both teams are flat out WORN OUT, and there's still just over 11 minutes left in this ball game.
