I picked against them in the semi's and I won't do it again . Elliot over East for back to back titles and the Lions go back to Rupp.

East is a fine team. But, when the chips are down, do they have anyone that can match the Faulkners intensity???? I'll be in attendance for this one.............Last time I watched an EC/EC matchup it was almost a 30 point ball game. I've called it from the get - go. Elliott over East for the 4th time and a return to Rupp. Not as close as most think, IMO

I am picking East Carter. Tough for EC to beat them 4 times in one season. I sure hope I'm right!

T. Knipp showed tonight why BCG invited him to Madness as an 8th grader. If he gives the same effort Wed. against Barnhill. The Elliott fans will bring out the brooms after a 4 game sweep and a return to Rupp.

Elliott completes the best of seven sweep. 72-61.

Im going to out on a limb and take East Carter by three. I think Barnhill will rise to the occasion and show why he is the best big man in the region

4th game! The first time ever for an All 62nd District Regional Final! This one will be a dandy, not gonna pick a winner, because I feel it's too close to call! Either team will represent the 16th Region and 62nd District very well. We will have it on the air, as always, beginning at 6:30!

Yeah, I am a real trouble maker!!!!

hmmmm, don't mean to brag but at the beginning of the season I did guarantee that the 62nd district would win the region, and place both of it's regional participants in atleast the semifinals.......Just had to get that out there....sorry.

 

The game tommorrow will be nuts. Two district rivals in the finals of the region. Elliott always brings a big crowd and i would predict given the Raiders 20 some odd year hiatus from the championship game most of the population of Grayson will be there as well.

 

Elliott is the better team on paper, and have won all 3 matchups between the clubs this season. But, something tells me Baker will pull a rabbit out of his hat and put East in Rupp.

 

This is only possible if East keeps the score close in the early part of the game. Elliott will have the early advantage due to having played in the last 2 regional finals. Also, East will have to stay out of foul trouble (killed them in the district finals) and manage the tempo.

 

I say the Raiders do all of these things and take the victory 68-67.
