March 12, 200818 yr Don't really care where he ends up...the money and playing time will come. Just hope he stays healthy and strong. I wish him the best.
March 12, 200818 yr I will be absolutly shocked if he goes that high. So would I... I'm just saying if he did it would help out the Bengals a lot...
March 13, 200818 yr Nice article RP. Thanks for posting. Great to see a Alumni brother getting some good press. He deserves it.
March 13, 200818 yr I will laugh my butt of at the team who gets duped into taking Matt Ryan in the top 10. Brohm is way better than him and should be the first qb taken. I dont understand what those scouts see in Ryan. He's solid, but not Top 10 good.
March 14, 200818 yr I often wonder how our glasses work when it comes to evaluating Brohm. I lived in Louisville when he was at Trinity and I always thought he was just one of those kids that "had it". He was going to win games and that was the bottom line. He had that special something that others don't have like a Montana/Brady. Then I see others evaluate him and I think I maybe overrate him because I've watched him grow (along with most on this board). I really think he will drop to the late teens to late 20's as far as a pick. I would much rather have him at that value then Ryan at #3. I also think there will be some good QB's to go in the 3rd and 4th round. For whatever reason, that's exactly the way I feel when I watch Brohm play. There were very few players in college over the last few years that understood the game the way Brohm did, if any. I think he'll be successful, and will play at a very high level in the NFL. My expectations may be higher or lower than the next guys, but nonetheless he'll be a career player.
