Hmmm ,a lot of these have the same theme. I know I have two and one is the 82 TD by JB and the other was the first play from scrimmage for HHS against, you guessed it, CovCath, when Justin Frisk took the hand off and it was "see ya later"-TD!!!. I'm sooo old I forget the year. Maybe '96? But that play was absolutely, how should I say this, um "AWESOME"!!!! So was yours JB.

2005 Bluebird team clinches the District Title in the last seconds at Covington Catholic. Chase Cecil to Al Petracco... The fellas are now room mates at UK!

Must be that #12 thing!!!! I had one myself my senior against Cov-Cath. Or is it a Cov-Cath thing. I was at Spring Football today and i must say Tony and Will are throwing the ball quite well. I was really impressed for the 1st day of Spring practice.

Though there are many to pick from, my favorite play comes from the 2007 season, of course. Of all the TDs and the big hits and the "Hail Terry", my favorite play of all time is Matt Reeds int and return during the Scott playoff game. I have watched it many times, and yes he was in. What make this play special for me, besides the great play made on the field, was the celebration from the Birds' sidelines. In my mind, that play was the signature of the 2007 team. I'll never forget it.

 

I have to agree. The players and coaching staff reaction to that play was priceless. The entire team, led by Ryan Ball and a couple of coaches, sprinted 50 yards to the end zone , jumping up and down and bear hugged Matt like they had just won the super bowl!
