Final. Congrats to Anderson County and good luck in the finals. Congrats to WV for a good tournament run.

Way to turn around the season WV.

Good Season WV. Good luck to Anderson in the finals.

Goodluck to the Anderson Co. Lady Bearcats against Simon Kenton on Monday. Congrats to WV on a good season.

Lauren Hargett had a great game. She had 35 points against a tough defense.

On a side note which I found very funny since the regional officials are supposed to be the best: they played the entire 1st quarter with a boys ball. How can that happen in a regional semi-final game? What a joke!!! The 8th Region officials at their best!!!

WOW!:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Congrats WV on a great season!

I second that!!! Great job Seniors you have represented Walton Verona well on and off the court. You have set a great example for teams for years to come.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

I wouldn't entirely blame the refs. I would have thought one of the players would have noticed it immediately. Does the host school provide the game ball or the home team???

The Host School provides the ball. However the refs are responsible for making sure the ball is suitable for play.

Strange thing is that it is supposed to be a specially ordered/supplied ball. You might expect something like that at a district tournament on a night in which both boys and girls are playing, but not at a girls only tournament. It is curious.

Sad to see the year come to an end but keep your head up girls you all had a very successful season. Good luck to all the seniors for whatever the future holds, and hit the gym young girls because next year is gonna be our year.

Congrats to all the WV players on their year. Look forward to watching Lauren take her game to the next level at TMC.

Congrats to Anderson County on their great play!!

35 out of 49 is pretty amazing. Great job Lauren. What happened to the rest of the offense?

Congrats Anderson! Good season Walton. All be missed!
