I'm not against Lynn Camp in anyway. I don't think they'll get by South because of experience, but who knows. I was just stating that everyone has their opinion, and everyone thinks they are an expert. That is what makes this board worth looking at. Who cares who gives what team respect, or who roots for who?

 

In the end, if we all had it figured out, why would we play the games?

 

That being said, I see a Corbin/South rematch. But, with the way this sports season has been (at all levels, in all sports) we don't know what will happen. It should be interesting to say the least.

Wow, it has been a story book season for Lynn Camp to say the least. I don't think HDE has really dawged them, but a lot of people on here have given them no chance and no respect.

 

A lot of people acused Les of dawging Pineville, Bell County, and Cumberland all season because of his Fear Les Forecast. Now we are down to the Region semi finals and Pineville, Cumberland, and Bell County (all very good basketball teams) are going to have to buy a ticket if they want to go.

 

Lynn Camp, who was in nobody's top 10, is in the semi finals and that is great for the sport IMO. These boys have worked so hard and Coach P is proving to be one of the best around for sure.

 

Who knows what will happen from here? Don't bank on South Laurel overlooking the Wildcats, because I can promise you that this isn't Steve Wright's first rodeo. I bet Lynn Camp will be at least number 4 on the final Fear Les Forecast coming up next week.

 

It has been a great season to watch for all the teams that I have had an opportunity to watch.

No dawging that I remember, unless you consider picking Harlan to beat them the last two years or asking you what's your fascination with Lynn Camp as dawging. I don't think I've ever started a thread about Lynn Camp, which would make me a pretty poor dawger.

 

I've worked with David Mitchell for 20-plus years. Ask him if I dawg Lynn Camp. Heck, ask Anthony Pennington. If I wanted to dawg them there would still be plenty of opportunities, even after a big win over a weak 52nd District team, to quote Les.

Heck, they've made it further than the Cumberlands and Pinevilles, who were expected to go deep.

Two teams from the 50th and 51st District will battle in the semis.

Those two districts were by far the best in the 13th Region this season.

Bubba covered the entire game earlier in the thread.

Lynn Camp was up by five with eight seconds left ... Bell hit a three and cut it to TWO.

Bell trailed by one late in the game, but Lynn Camp made the shots down the stretch.

IMO Campers were just the better team.

My apologies. Upon further review, Bubba said the 52nd District is weak, not Les. I'm glad this wasn't my day job.

Did Bell have a shot to tie or win at the end? I didnt see that in Bubba's "coverage."
