It would be great for any kid to leave this area and walk on at UK. But, I honestly think Clark would benefit playing for a smaller school. This kid wants to play and has the ability to play. He may not get that at UK. Maybe an OVC type team or NAIA team. The kid can play. The main reason no one likes him is because of the way his uncles have put him out there. He only plays the way is told to. I wish him nothing but the best no matter where he chooses to go.

Why would Kentucky need another walk on, be real there are alot of better athletes out there including in the jr college schools.

He would be a better fit for a smaller college but he is talented enough to walk on at UK.

I am all for him. I am sure he is a good kid and a decent basketball player but in order for him to ever play he needs to consider a small D-1 school or NAIA school. Doesn't shoot it well enough to play D-1 and at that level all guards Are 6'1" to 6' 6" inches tall which has given him a considerable advantage playing in the mountains that he won't have in college.

Will there be much of a future for June Buchanan now that Stepp and this senior class are gone? Only enrolling around 70 students makes the list of possible players a short list, right?

Clark is a great kid. The elder Stepps doesn't have a clue what they should and are hurting Clark in ther long run. I was listening to a sports radio talk show out of Hazard last week. A guy calls in and says that Clark recieved 10 tickets from Florida. Add another rumor to the stack.

Clark wanted to go to Austin Peay. That I do know. They did send a scout to watch one of his games. He had one of the worst games that night. Probably nervous. After the game they did meet with Clark and his parents and AP said that they didn't have any scholarships to offer. Maybe walk on and see what happens.

Clark will end up at Alice Lloyd or Georgetown. I wish him all the luck in the world. His uncles sure aren't doing him any favors.
