No. Brian Smith unlike Coury, actually has some talent. I not sure if Brian Smith starts all the time, or if it was just because it was at UK. Because I know that other PG is really good and can shoot.

If Smith is that good, he didn't show anything tonight. And I haven't heard about him all year. He can't be that talented.

I would think that Brian is like the rest of that family, all class. I noticed a shot at Donna (about her weight) in the other thread and let it go, now this one that imo is wanting to take shots at Brian. I guess my question is .....why? :confused::sleep: Should someone want to bash Tubby, although that is a dead horse go ahead. I would hope that they would leave his famly alone. I don't want to get into a discussion or debate on this anymore. I just hope that I am wrong and some are not just taking shots ar Donna and Brian as well as trying to get some in on Tubby by going this route.

Why would you start a player who hasn't started all year just because he's playing in his old hometown....in a must win game if you have any post season aspirations? It sure didn't help them get off to a great start.

He got a scholarship to play at an SEC school. No matter what people say, it does take some talent to do that. Coury did not get a scholarship to UK, and was just able to make it as a walk on, and he benefits from us not really having much good depth at that position.
UNDERTHEBRIDGE Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 As was stated by a few people, Brian hadn't started all year and the announcers said he was getting the start since he was playing in Lexington where he attended middle school and high school, playing basketball locally at both levels. I don't see much problem with it considering I didn't feel he really did anything negative that really caused Ole Miss' poor start. It was also nice seeing Donna on the TV for a UK game even if she had on the wrong colors.
