February 28, 200818 yr Brian is at Ole Miss because Rod Barnes and Tubby Smith are bff's. He isn't an SEC level player and the announcers said last night that he rarely plays. His stats are 9.5 mpg, 1.2 ppg, and 1.4 apg.

I think it was a good gesture on all accounts.... Brian Smith won the state championship in 2002. Lafayette won it in 2001. Lex Cath in '02 with mostly sophomores and Smith.

February 28, 200818 yr He got a scholarship to play at an SEC school. No matter what people say, it does take some talent to do that. Coury did not get a scholarship to UK, and was just able to make it as a walk on, and he benefits from us not really having much good depth at that position. Brian is a walk-on.

Well, I guess that's the unfortunate part of a Rupp Arena crowd. They won't make any noise to support their team, but they'll be all about bashing a former coach's wife, LOL. I personally would have cheered for her.
