Coach Dod even said on his post game show that their second half adjustment on offense, especially driving to the hole when Russell got in foul trouble was the difference in the game.

They say that adversity doesn't build character as much as it reveals it. I agree, but I also know that when you're young, seasons like this can be real character builders if you don't let the struggle break you. The fact that you guys hung in there and did not surrender all season tells me there are brighter days ahead.

 

I've watched my team dominate game after game against good competition, and I've seen them have their tails handed to them for a whole season. In all, they have learned valuable lessons that will help them succeed the rest of their lives.

 

Very few high school athletes go on to compete in college or beyond. The lessons learned between the lines, whether they be on a court, field, diamond or other sporting venue are invaluable life lessons that will serve you well for years to come. Keep your chins up, and go be your best. :thumb:

How could you say that when Greenup played both of those teams really close in the regular season? Plus it was at Greenup and anything can happpen in district.

In this case I don't think it matters how you look at it. 20+ is not close. I was not at the Lewis County game so thier win could be deceiving by late free throws but I was at the Raceland game and it was not close.
