I didn't see it... Why did the police refs stop the game and have the gentleman sitting court side escorted from the building?

 

I'm sure the man had said a few unpleasant things to the officials.

Great win for Scott. Especially when you consider a lot of their kids were down with the flu bug this week.

When I saw who was not playing for SK, I really wasn't sure that they would be able to keep it that close. SK freethrow shooting was dismal and for whatever reason, they couldn't come up with rebounds when they needed them. Pressure from Scott was effective without a true point guard for SK. It seemed to me that SK must have used 10 kids. If I am not mistaken, one player that played quite a bit had never played any varsity.

Somebody told me at the game last night that they were going to re-schedule the Scott v. Dixie game next Saturday night. I didn't see it on the official list. Can anyone confirm?

One thing I will say about this game, it was one of the most tightly called games I have ever witnessed. Both teams were in double bonus in both halves and either each team forgot how to dribble in this game or the officials were seeing things there were easily 10-15 travel calls.

 

Well at least they didn't let the game get too physical which is what everyone has been seeing and complaining about lately. Coaches sure didn't argue many calls.

Nice win for Scott

SK once agained seemed to be careless on the offensive end, I don't have official numbers but I would be suprised if they had less than 20 turnovers. I couldn't believe they were only down by a few going into the half, 2nd half they got Maegley involved and Sorrell and Slavey hit a few threes to give them the eight point lead. Kudos to Scott, they hung in their and really rebounded well on the offensive end down the stretch. Here's hoping SK can get healthy.
