All the talking about Elliott is not hype it is real and they are for real. You need to read some of the comments from non Elliott fans. It will be a good game. ENJOY!

Weather may get this one, but it looks like it may start until later that evening. Anyone know how long the trip is for the Lions?

Yep, the only thing to look forward to is for everyone to realize that Elliot is not near as good as the hype around them.

Ahh... Elliott has two "t's" That drives me nuts..ha.

Anyway, Elliott doesn't seem to be excessively "hyped" According to BGP rankings EC is only ranked 20th. MC much better at #3.

Common sense would tell you that MC should win this game easily. I see lots of posts predicting hugh MC wins. That's OK...as it should happen this way.

The only thing I don't understand is "Who on the MC/EC thread is "hyping" EC? Some people are predicting a small Elliott win. I don't see EC people being brunt, arrogant, or "in your face." Some fans seem defensive.

MC is a great ball team. They prove it on the court. Elliott proves that they are a good ball team (the had a lead on CovCath in the 3rd).

Elliott will probably loose by double digits. That's the sport. I wish people wold quit telling how bad EllioTT is.

Current forecast is for 4-6 inches of white stuff.

The trip from Elliott County is somewhere around an hour and 40 minutes or thereabouts.

As long as the temp is above freezing in the day--I think Elliott will make the trip. They don't usually like to cancel a game. I remember driving to Boonville (I think that is Owsley Co) one night with a forcasted ice storm. Luckily the storm was all rain.

I agree with Rookie above. Everybody has a good time bashing Elliott. They can't beat anybody in the Top 20 and shouldn't be ranked in the Top 30. Everybody points to Covington Catholic and Rose Hill and say's see if they played Top 30 teams they would be 0-22 right now. Losing those 2 games I guess pretty much settles it. They are a pretty pitiful bunch. Most of you haven't even seen them you just envision everything I said above about them and then base what you don't know off a couple of games.

Since they start 4 juniors, and a freshman my advice to Coach Mays is play the Ballard's, Scott County's, Male's, and Lexington Catholic's next year. Play them anywhere they want to play. As a top ranked pre-season team it will be expected, will only make them better prepared for a tournament run, and not that this one matters, but give the naysayers something else to talk about. They will be a pre-season Top 5 pick in 08/09 especially considering what the other top teams are losing after this season.

Haven't heard that one yet.

I agree they should schedule all those teams. It will only help them in the end. The year Mason Co. won the state title, the team was lead by a group of Jr.'s. Just something to think about.

There predicting 3-6 tonight but there saying east of cincy more on the 3 side and thats us.By 10am there calling for all rain and 38 so im not sure how it will play.
