Congrats to Raceland for breaking the Streak.

Coach Morris is one of the finest men I've known. Great man. I , for one, applaud him for his service. Trust me when I say that our country couldn't be in better hands!!!:ylsuper:

 

One of the finest men I know, He is a Sargent Major with the guard and has somewhere around 30 years of service of this great country. God's speed with coach Morris.

 

He was also Phil Simms' Center at Morehead.

 

By the way, great basketball game, big crowd and about 50 lead changes, with a fast passed game.

Great night at The Palace. Huge crowd for the Rams. Rams played inspired basketball and got a huge win. I would like to give a special thanks to Raceland teacher and golf coach Wendall Morris who will be leaving this week to serve our country in the Middle East. they announced him at the game and he recieved a standing ovation from both the Raceland and Ashland fans. Thanks Tomcat fans this was very classy. Coach Morris will be serving and missing his only son's graduation this year. Our prayers and thoughts will be with him. Cody Barker was the difference tonight as the Tomcats had no answer for his inside play. Way to go Rams! Lets keep it rolling into the 63rd District Tourney!!!!

 

:thumb: Great Post Blazer!! Wendell Morris has been a great teacher, friend to the kids and staff and former asst. football coach at Raceland. He will be missed by his family, friends and Raceland - Worthington High School Family. I hope that everyone can appreciate the efforts of our men in the military put into everything they do.

I also would like to ask for prayers for Mr. Morris's family during this time of his absence.

 

Also, a Thank You to the Ashland fans for your applause and reactions, the Ashland School System are and always have been all class in every way :thumb:.

Congrats to the Rams. 61 years is long dry spell against anybody. Must be awfully sweet to end it.

Nice win for the Ramblers! Barker stepped up and played well, also Martin did a nice job shooting the ball. The Rams played good D all night and IMO Thomas for Ashland had some trouble shooting on those rims at "The Palace". Also I thought Coach Floyd did a great job last night, good all-around coaching effort by him. GO RAMS!!!
