5wide
If he wins, we may never hear about it on Fox or CNN... I'd love to see him get in the race somehow. But, at the least, it would be nice to see him get in the picture enough to get some serious consideration in the debates. HHSDad...if Ron Paul would support the Republican party line about the Iraq War, how much, if any, do you think it would boost his standing? I may be wrong, but I think that's the thing that hurts him most in the primary.

thegooch
Ron Paul is a republican in the truest since of the word. I respect that greatly. I would vote for him if I were a registered Republican. He is more republican than any of the others.

Maybe he could get a Cabinet or advisor role.

Maybe he could get a Cabinet or advisor role. I know he wouldn't get into contention under nearly any circumstance...I just wondered if toeing the party line about the war might get a few more people interested. I imagine a lot of people tune him out immediately when he goes against the war. It's a shame our presidential election process is what it is today... HHSDad
Thank God, that Ron Paul will not be our next President. Hillary and Ron Paul are not that different from each other as far as personalities are concerned. Both are about as sublte as coarse sandpaper. rockcastleraiders
Ron Paul seems to be the least "crooked" of all of them but his stances are very retrogressive and few people like. He may get serious help from the Libertarians and may even run as their candidate from speculation.
