East Carter was on the field today. They were outside yesterday too.

 

East Carter doesn't even have a proper infield at the moment and are still practicing outside.

How can you talk about power hitters, without mentioning Keeton from Raceland. I'm not sure of stats but he should be at the top from last year.He hit a grand slam at Rams that landed out by the tennis courts. Also i've watched Greenup, and i dont think Reed is power, a good kid and good hitter but no power hitter. I would pick Rice & Logan for Greenup. I would also go with Duvall from Ashland and Thompson from Fairview and Bolander from Lewis.

You can bet Boyd Co. will be just fine. They have some real good coaches and will out work any team in the 16 region. They might start out slow, But they will be ready by the end of the season. You have to respect there program. Year in and year out. I think the next couple of years will be slow, But with hard work that you know will be there day in and day out. they will make a run for the region. Good luck BC.

 

:thumb: Good Post HCT, Boyd is not going anywhere, they have a top notch program all the way down to thier youth programs. From the youngest to the varsity level that is one great baseball program.

Fortunately for Ram fans, John Scott Carver is playing and IMO is one of the best hitters in the region. I have watched him in high school and summer leagues and he can as Oldrambler stated, "flat out hit" a baseball. He is also a great kid that will give you everything he has every time he steps on the field.
