Well, just got back to the motel from the game after eating like a sow with youngun's at some Mexican joint that started with a Q. Game was kinda ugly. They box and 1'd Mr. Euton, and when he did get some open looks, he didn't get the pass. Mr. Jackson played fairly well, knocked down some shots and Mr. Barber hit some big 3's. Thought Mr. Bush was tough on defense today. But the tempo was like watching old ladies quilt. Thrilling! But I will say one thing. Those boys should be fresh for tomorrow evening's game. They didn't run much. After watching the game before with Somerset and Murray, I look for a similar style game. Kinda as riveting as waiting on eggs to boil. But there's no trophies for number of points scored in the tournament, only scoring more than the guys across from you. Congratulations to Coach Fraley and the Royals.

Only in America, baby!

On a side note, I got to speak briefly with the Somerset coach, very nice guy!

They are doing the 16th proud.

Congrats to "The Hill" from the Rambler crew here in Raceland and good luck tommorrow night and the rest of the way, you are making the 16th proud!

112 teams started out on this journey, 8 remain. It wasn't pretty, but it's all about surviving and advancing. Should be a good game tomorrow. :thumb:

Congrats to the Hill. Comes from an Elliott County Long Distance fan who is still in mourning and deep depression that his team is not dancing in Richmond. As the old ABC Wide World of Sports opening line said, "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat".

Survive and advance. It seems like every team that wins a tournament has to go through a game like this one. Great game plan by LC they executed their strategy and hit some timely shots.

Everyone has been asking for Rose Hill to have more balance and they got it tonight. I have not seen the final scoring totals but I remember Euton 6, Arthur 2, Davis 7, Bush 2, Barber 10, Jackson 13. That's at least close.

Free throw shooting was a problem down the stretch except for Barber who nailed 2 big ones to push the lead to 6.

I would expect Murray to employee a similar strategy tomorrow.

Royals survive and advance. Congrats to the young guns from the hill. Thought it was an interesting call by Fraley to go to a stall in the 3rd quarter. We definately saved our legs for the stretch run this weekend. Davis and Barber played well and made big contributions tonight. The Royals are starting to get other people involved in the scoring which hopefully will pay dividends this wekend. Keep up the good work. Dakota will have them hanging on him again all night tomorrow, hopefully he will get more touches than he did tonight. Best of luck Royals, you are representing the 16th well

The KHSAA.org scoreboard has the the score showing Louisville Collegiate as the the winner?

Must have been a ugly game.

I was just watching WKYT news to catch some of the Rose Hill highlights and they reported Collegiate won the game by a 40-37 score.:confused:

They must have just gotten some footage and left before it was over, got a wrong score reported or something........this is crazy!

Sounds like this one was a little ugly!

:D At least it isn't as bad as the Owensboro Cath. game. They had 8 pts total at halftime! That would have been nice to watch.

There's been lots of low scores so far in the tourney. Rose Hill just needs to survive and move on. Doesn't have to be pretty.
