History Note: When Corbin played in Class A, I do not think they could get out of the region. I think at that time basketball in the 13th region was stronger. So, it is hard to say if Corbin who is the best team in many peoples eyes could get a win in Richmond.:thumb:

 

Most of the years that Corbin played in the All-A, they were knocked out by some very good Harlan teams. They were not in it for several years before returning in 2002 and losing again to a not so good Harlan team in the finals that they defeated later in the season by 26 points. They won the All-A Region in 2003, which will probably be the last time they qualify to play.

 

Corbin has already beaten the 12 region representative by 19 points, so one could surmise they might be able to win a game.............though you never know for sure.

Les, any idea when the draw for the 49th district is?

Genius? No. Know everything? No. Just think Clay County is underated by most experts. BTW I got the Giants.

Clay looked really good last night. I love a good district rivalry game, but the brawl that ensued after the game was a bit scary. :| I hope JCHS takes a good look into crowd control after what happened.

Sounds like Clay is in to some "scrappy" contests lately... I say that's a good sign for the team. I think they had forgotten to "fight" for things in recent years. Sounds like old times for the Tigers. GO BIG CLAY!! Maybe soon Conway can run across the floor in front of the visiting crowd with one of his "special" banners. :argue:
