NL Central- Redlegs

:thumb:

They will contend!

^ Ya never know with the Central, but the way the Cubs gelled in the 2nd half last year, and Fukudome, they could win 95-100 games...

Actually 2 years ago the Tigers proved that hitting gets you to the world series. They had a really potent offense and was pounding the ball..They also had the pitching but their hitting was a big part of it.

Well yeah no kidding, and same with the indians last year. Its pitching that matters and gets you there and you CANT argue that. Last year the tigers pitching was not good. Thats why they fell out of the race. Willis will not help the tigers at all.

Indians have some real talent and if Asdrubal Cabrera and Franklin Gutierrez have good years(along with hafner having a rebound year) i really dont think there will be a race in the al central by the end of the year. Tigers get the Wild Card.

I was thinking the same thing, sorry guys, its been 100 years, this is the Cubs year :D

I have to say it again but I believe once again that the Reds will some how find a way and get to the playoffs.

:rolleyes:I could deal with the statement that Willis probably won't be the pitcher he was in the NL, but to say he won't help them at all is saying that all 5 starters and all spot starters they pitched last season was better than he is, which I highly doubt...

All i am saying is that everyone thinks this was such a great deal and this will put them in the world series. They have to get through the indians in their own division and the red sox and yankees in the playoff's. The tigers look a lot like the yankee's with their bats and not much pitching and very high payroll.

Well guys it's a good thing we don't get paid to make predictions. Just about everyone sucked at this and the only ones that were consistent was the Cubs and Angels. Everything else was off.
