January 22, 200818 yr Was he still in the car when you "fished him out"? I don't want to get any undue credit here, I didn't do anything heroic. His wreck must have just happened as I came by, I was not even sure if it had happened recently or earlier in the morning. By the time I got off the road and out of my truck, he had broken a window and was crawling out of the car. I just helped him up the bank, borrowed a blanket from an onlooker and took him into a local place to warm up until the ambulace crew got there. No big deal really, but if I had been a couple of minutes earlier, I'm sure I would have been in the creek helping him break that window. He was really cold and really scared and he said he was afraid he was going to drown.

January 22, 200818 yr I think you did a lot! You did far more than many people would do. In fact, some might not have even stopped. And I don't doubt for a second that you would have saved him, if he needed saving.
January 22, 200818 yr Nice job Toots! I don't why but I am not afraid to travel in any type of weather. Well....with the exception of a tornado!
