sportsfan41
So classes started back at NKU yesterday and today is my first day of classes. I'm pretty sure the first day of classes are becoming obselete at NKU. Typically on the first day of class you get the syllabus discuss it, the course and then leave. That's what I just did in my first class, it lasted 15 of the scheduled 75 minutes. Every class I have the syllabus was posted online before class, so there goes half the first day down the drain, the only part remaining is going over the syllabus in class. Usually the professors just read over it, I can read just fine. So my being able to read pretty much means that to me the first day of class is becoming obsolete. I'm sitting here with 45 minutes til my next class, bored, and ranting, because I've been stressed about the first day back, and for what. So someone could read to me; was I really stressed about someone reading to me. That's all the firs day is anymore. Well I'm done complaining for now. Hope everyone has a great day. P.S With only one class down, I've already spotted 5 cute chicks in the first class, hopefully this trend continues.
The Sooner Surge
I love the first day 'syllabus discussion' day. I always get out an hour earlier than expected, then I get on BGP for another hour until the process starts all over again. Ill do this three times today and Ill probably get home around 2 o' clock, just in time for a nap.
sportsfan41
Yea I think I'll be exhausted tonight, only got about four hours of sleep last night, have 3 classes, followed by a two hour break to make it to the gym and back before my last class. Another nice thing about the first class though, no text $book$.

The books consist of how to operate graphics systems such as Photoshop on mac computers (which is what we work on) but anyways...the total cost of these books is roughly $350.00.:scared:

I just ordered my laptop this morning and had to pay part of my tuition today. So it's safe to say money is running out, I paid straight out of the ole checking account for both.:madman:

We have like 4 computers in my house, but the one I was using was dying, and it almost cost some grades last semester, and did cause alot of stress. So I decided it was time to get myself a laptop. TubbyCAT
I may agree with that last statement!
Sting
So I figure that NKU costs about $744 for a 3 hour class. A regular Tuesday Thursday class has about 32 sessions. You got to figure that your professor burns you for about $23 each time he lets you out early or cancels class...

And I'm quite ok with him/her burning me as long as my grade isn't burnt at semesters end.
Sting
And I'm quite ok with him/her burning me as long as my grade isn't burnt at semesters end. Maybe, but I would rather get it all done early and coast and get out early in April when the weather is much nicer.

Well I really don't foresee any major changes from the current system, so I'll just accept it as is.

A professor (not a TA) in class for the full class time, everyday the class is offered. Tuition is too expensive these days and they better be giving me the best service for my money.
