Blue Blazer Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 I know that Rose Hill has lost the past 2 nights but it ssems as though the Royals have played really well vs. extremely tough competion. This should be a great tune up tourney going into next week's All A!
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 I would hope that the tough schedule and tough losses will prepare this team for a possible run in the 16th region tournament. Well a run if they can avoid Elliott as long as possible.
Uncle Jed Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Another tough game against quality team. Rose Hill played hard, but just couldn't get over the hump. Another big night for Robbie Barbour. Mike Davis also had a good night. Everybody said RH has to find some help for Euton and Jackson, maybe they are finding it.
mcpapa Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 I watched the first quarter of this game. The supporting cast for "the big 2" isn't nearly as lacking as I had been led to believe from some of the comments on this board. The team from MS was very athletic; for RH to stay within 10 of them is a good sign. Chad Jackson does seem to be the straw that stirs the drink for the Royals. Deny him the ball and you go a long, long way towards stopping RH.
Intentional Foul Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Another tough game against quality team. Rose Hill played hard, but just couldn't get over the hump. Another big night for Robbie Barbour. Mike Davis also had a good night. Everybody said RH has to find some help for Euton and Jackson, maybe they are finding it. Any stats for Barbour and Davis?
shooterx3 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Rose Hill competing well against some top competition, other players besides the big 2 stepping up, could be a big week (and a big month) for them coming up:thumb:
Uncle Jed Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Here are the stats for Rose Hill: Euton 20 pts / 7 reb / 2 asst Jackson 10 pts / 7 reb / 7 asst Barber 14 pts / 2 reb / 1 asst Davis 8 pts / 4 reb Arthur 2 reb / 1 asst Quackenbush 2 pts / 4 reb / 1 asst J. Bush 2 reb / 1 asst Robbie Barber was 7 of 11 for 64% from three-point range in two games. I'm looking foreward in seeing some local games.
mcpapa Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Who is the tall left-hander for RH? Looks like RH is slowly but surely developing some players to complement Euton and Jackson.
basketballmomcat Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Heard from the Moss Point coaches and players that MP is actually the number two team in Mississippi in this week's rankings. Good game Royals :thumb:
Fastbreak Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Who is the tall left-hander for RH? Looks like RH is slowly but surely developing some players to complement Euton and Jackson. Nathan Quackenbush is 6' 6" and was a rebounding machine in the minutes he played. :thumb:
