No doubt in my mind the Holmes Bulldogs are the best team in the ninth. More disciplined than I've seen in years.(On and off court.) Nobody wants to talk about them or give them a thread.:confused:

I'm with you on Holmes being the best team in the ninth.

No one in the 9th touches Holmes. Does not mean an upset can't happen come region time, but Holmes is my pick. I feel they can make a run in the Sweet 16 as well. The 9th will get at least one win this year.

Granted it was early in the season, but Boone Cty. lost to the same Holy Cross team that Holmes just beat by 20. I would put Boone as a solid #2 in the region right now but Holmes is the undoubted #1 until someone takes it from them IMO...

Also, remember you are in the ninth region and football season has only been over for a few short weeks and the football fans are still complaining about all stars and where kids are going to be playing football in school. Basketball will always play second to hoops in the ninth, and more and more in the state of Ky. year round.

:lol::laugh:

My kind of place: where basketball comes in second only to HOOPS!

Holmes seems to be the best under the radar team that hasn't lost a game around here yet. Truth is until that happens Boone, CCH or no one else even matters. Rez Henderson is the best player in the region with a solid supporting cast around him with a lot of basketball experience. Until someone figures out how to stop Rez the rest of the 9th region might as well get behind them. This team doesn't seem to have the problems of years past. This is a credit to the parents of these kids who are keeping them focused and toeing the line.It is also a credit to these kids who are trying to stay focused on the job at hand.

Hopefully someone can fill me in on Mr. Henderson and his college plans. Has he limited his choices at all? Is he set on playing D1 basketball? He clearly has the skill, but being a 5' 11" shooting guard does not help things.

Play your starters 31/2 quarters and you'll get all the attention you want!!!!!:fire::scared::argue::sleep::jump::thumb:

:cry: All I did was get 25 threads as a rookie here on Bluegrass, as a former Marine myself I have no problem with constructive criticizing at all. If someone disagree's that's their right. I beleive in a thread someone told me to post threads about Holmes and everybody would respond!

You'd better watch it you ole feather ruffler you!!

And don't forget the Lloyd tournament. Boone lost to the same Daviess Co. Team that holmes beat by 18.
