Scott County has done nothing this year to make me think they will win the game in Maysville. They lost early in the year to Ballard, they barely beat a Henry Clay team that Bryan Station beat by around 30 points twice (Mason beat Bryan Station earlier in the year). They also have lost to six or seven out of state teams (I will admit they are good teams) by double digits almost every time. I belive people are giving the Cardianls too much credit based on past seasons. They lost 60% of their starting lineup including their two best players (Walls and Mackey) and a lockdown defender (Jimmie Warren). Who is going to be their goto leader this year? Other top ranked teams have one.

Can someone give me a reason why Scott County should be ranked in the top 5 or even top 10? Do they have any quality in state wins agaisnt any top 15 teams?

Mason County should win by double digits.

Scott County has lost a lot of from last year. However they still have got Richie Phares ( Will be on of the three favorites to win MR. Basketball next year) and Tyler Portwood (Probably one of the best shooters in the state). They also have the winningest active coach of all time. Scott County will give Mason county a hard time inside. Scott County is good defensive team, that can cause alot of turnovers. However their weakness is they are not that safe with ball, turning it over alot themselves.

Im still looking for somewhere to eat after the game....or maybe the concession stand will work, does Mason have a good one? I can't get food off my mind!

whats the radio station in Maysville that I can pick up this game

95.9 FM or it's usually on soft96.com

Pasquallis (spelling?) is a good italian restraunt!

I think one of the role players either on Mason Co. or Scott Co.'s team makes the difference in the game. An Ethan King maybe! We know Miller is going to get his, it is who steps up that will make the difference in the game!

Good Point! I agree!

Just make it simple, there is an Arbys right across the street and Wendy's right down the street from the Fieldhouse.

The key to this game is the health of the Royals players. Trevor Setty has been out of school for the past 3 days for flu like symptoms and Russ Middleton has been out for 2 days because of the same.

Sorry to hear that for these guys. Going through the same thing ourselves. Since I haven't heard about anyone sick at SC, I will pick SC 73-65.
