I have seen both teams play this season and i think that Scott comes every night to play. I see this being a 5 point game either was but im taking the cards!

The key to this game is the health of the Royals players. Trevor Setty has been out of school for the past 3 days for flu like symptoms and Russ Middleton has been out for 2 days because of the same.

Not a good time for the guys to come down with the flu bug with a couple of "prime-time" games coming up.

 

Better now than at tourney time, though. May be a chance for some of the second team to see more playing time against big-time opposition, and that's not all bad.

Any one got some good suggestions of where to eat after the game? I tried the Pub last time and walked out happy, may try again.

Scott County has done nothing this year to make me think they will win the game in Maysville. They lost early in the year to Ballard, they barely beat a Henry Clay team that Bryan Station beat by around 30 points twice (Mason beat Bryan Station earlier in the year). They also have lost to six or seven out of state teams (I will admit they are good teams) by double digits almost every time. I belive people are giving the Cardianls too much credit based on past seasons. They lost 60% of their starting lineup including their two best players (Walls and Mackey) and a lockdown defender (Jimmie Warren). Who is going to be their goto leader this year? Other top ranked teams have one.

 

Can someone give me a reason why Scott County should be ranked in the top 5 or even top 10? Do they have any quality in state wins agaisnt any top 15 teams?

Scott County did loose a lot but they have a basketball PROGRAM there going and have for years not just a one great year team like some and back to norm.They have a great coaching staff there and they have some very talented basketball kids this year.With program they have and have had for years they reload they don't rebuild and i assure you the Scott County Cardinals will have a say in this game and the 11th region before its all said and done.Anybody in this state that would have played there schedule wouldn't have fared much better if any.Don't read into the records and you cant always compare scores with other teams come to the Fieldhouse tonight and see for yourself they deserve to be ranked in the top 10,Theres no way you can name 10 better teams then Scott County.And just so you know this is coming from a Mason County fan who like nothing better than to beat the Cards by 20 not a Cardinal fan in anyway shape or form,But i know enough about there Program and KY high school basketball to know there a top 10 team.:thumb:
