Yeah, thats kinda were I was going with my over scheduling comment, they have 2 kids that can probably compete with anyone, but other than that they are kinda weak

 

This is true. Euton and Jackson are among the best in the region but it takes more than 2 outstanding players to make a good team.

Absolutely, I have not seen them play yet, looking forward to seeing them in the all "A". I'm told that Jackson's jump shot is a little suspect? Could just have a bad source though.

Just for the sake of fairness, RH has beaten Morgan Co., the team ranked in front of them, and they have two other wins in the David Garnes tournament which would make their record 6-5.

How much weight did you give to strength of schedule? Have you seen every team play? Great job except for the fact that you had Rose Hill's record wrong and didn't know that they beat Morgan Co.

 

I think this proves that any poll, no matter how flawed, that has Rose Hill low in the rankings is going to draw praise from the rest of the region.

UT your rankings look pretty good, I can see where and why you have Raceland were they are but I believe that I possibly would put them ahead of West and possibly ahead of Bath Co..I do see whaere that you came up with your placement though. I also think that Rose Hill should maybe be higher but that is just me.

I am going on the opnions of friends that know basketball pretty well, some of the BGP members on here that I belive know basketball and are not all "homers" and newspapaer articles and the like.

You have personally seen most if not all of these teams play though and like I said, your rankings look pretty good to me and you proably have a better take on it than I do. . Great job....:thumb:

Let me remind you west lost to Boyd twice.........and you have them way above Boyd as well as other teams? Boyd should be where they are at, but west is way off.

From my observations and from strength of schedule, Rose Hill should be at least #7...but with the pollsters subjective opinion factored in as it is in your poll, there is no real way to tell how won-lost records or strength of schedule can effect your poll. How can you determine "how a team is playing" with any level of objectivity and without seeing every team play?
