Heres a pic of me getting off the airplane in AliAlSalem Air base in Kuwait, we flew in a C-130 that left from Kuwait international, about 15 minutes into the flight, it started smoking up the plane and we had to wear these little emergency breathing devices, if this photo works, Ill post a shot someone took of it as we landed.

Im the ugly one in the middle closest to the camera.

ah it did work, heres one of us on the airplane, cant believe someone actually thought to take a pic, but Im glad they did.

 

We felt like a piece of popcorn in the mircowave, just look and you will see why.

Just above each picture is an explanation. Apparently, they had a little smoke in the plane.

Attached to each little bubble head was a tube and a silver canister with emergency air supply when the canister is activated. Not sure exactly how much air, but we had ours on for at least 15 minutes till they opened a hatch in the top of the aircraft and the smoke was sucked out. By then we were ready to land and the fire put out, so they worked pretty good, they just felt really weird.

Hey Mr. Lewis, or USNAVY, I would just like to say THANK YOU for serving our country. I'm about to be shipped off to boot camp for the Air Force(in the fall) and I'm so pumped up about the oppurtunities that exist and the chance to serve my country. I feel as if it is my duty to serve. All my friends say that I'm stupid but they are content with living off mommy and daddy and they are 20-21 years old. But after what Pat Tillman did and after what guys like you do, I say why not ME? Good Luck, be safe and thanks again from the bottom of my heart.
