Why did she transfer from Heritage?

Does Heritage even have a girls team this year?

I was told by a parent who had a daughter play last year that they do not have a team this year. Supposedly, there wasn't enough girls who wanted to play.

The Phillies. Coached by Chad Glenn. His daughter plays at Villa.

Thanks madman I will have to check them out this summer.

Please post when and where they will be playing in the future.

I'll do that. They were fun to watch.

Moss was a heck of high school ball player in his days.

Him and Jason Williams dominated WV basketball together!

Evidentally, Ryle has changed their rule regarding allowing 8th graders to play up until their season is over. This use to be a Boone Co school system rule, I think at least for Bball. Someone correct me if I am wrong. What's the old saying, money talks??

The Moss girl is a great talent!

You know how Randy pays for his daughter's b-ball shoes, right?

White chocolate Jason Williams?

Are you kidding? Do you really believe that? If Boone Co had that rule then they needed to change it. It is much different with girls than boys. Many middle school girls are much more physically capable of competing on the high school level than boys and the bottom line about varsity sports is the BEST players play regardless of their age. If they take an upperclassman's playing time then they must be better than those upperclassmen. This is not Rec ball. You earn playing time based on ability, not age. Obviously, she is able to compete and those two 8th graders need to be playing at the varsity level. They will only make Ryle better.

If I am a TRUE Ryle fan, I want the coach to play the players who give Ryle the best chance to win so why would I care about that "rule". The KHSAA has no rule against it so good for them for finally changing their "rule".

There are still other schools in the area that won't allow 8th graders (no matter how good they are) to move up to JV/Varsity until after their seasons are over!

Why??

Because the Middle School team will suffer.....that is what I have

been told! But last time I checked, Middle School teams don't

make the newspaper (unless it is the community paper)

But back to Moss, I saw her play last year as a 7th grader at Heritage

and she was good. Playing against SO, JR, and SR's.....

Good ending point.
