HIghlands uses an 18-0 second half run to get by Doss at Shelby County.

Any stats on this one? McGraw/Simpson points?

Here you go my friend!

AFB Invitational Tournament at Shelby Co.

DOSS (1-6) — Glenn 2, Weathering 7, Clemons 7,

Highlands . . . . . . . . .11 16 18 6—51

Looks like the third quarter the Birds "did in" the Dragons.

Couldn't quite understand the Headline from the story when I read it this morning? No. 1 Highlands? I am sure the editor must be is a HHS fan to write that headline.....:D

What worries me is that they only had 6 kids in the scorebook and 3 of them are sophomores and 3 are seniors. I know Zach Hurtt does a ton of intangibles that never make the sports page but they are going to really need more scoring from their bench by the end of the year if they want to defeat the likes of Holmes/CCH. McGraw and Simpson can only do some much and teams will be locking down on them each and every night.

Wrong sport?

When do the Birds next play, and against whom?

Highlands meets Bullitt East (10-1) today at 6pm in the first semifinal. The second semifinal pits host school Shelby County (8-0) against Western Hills (8-3). Should be a good night of basketball.

Any links for the games tonight???

Actually I like the lineup. Good mix of youth and experience. Don't forget about Stein. If he gets back healthy he's good for 6-8 pts. and a bunch of boards.

I do also, they still need 4-6 pts from a couple other kids and maybe Luke will fill that void.
